Welcome to our Fitting Page! To make sure the fitting of your product is as comfortable and safe as possible, it is essential to follow the instructions and details laid out below! If you have any questions or are unsure about your measurements, please feel free to contact us! Enjoy!

WHERE DO I BEGIN?
Weight limit - Before we start, it is important to understand that Helite airbags can not be worn if you weigh under 35 kg. - The reason behind this lower limit is safety for the user; the trigger release system of the mechanical airbags requires a certain amount of force to be fully released. To see further limitations, Click Here!

Before we start, make sure to wear a normal, fitting shirt, have your regular riding gear ready on the side if your product needs the measurements fully geared up, and prepare a well-lit area to easier see the numbers.

Have a measurement tape ready—we recommend using a soft, flexible sewing / tailor tape measure which can be purchased at your local Woolworths or Office Works and other stores.

Write down the product name of interest and find it in one of the product sections down below.

Using the measurement graphic guide and the sizing chart of your product together in that section, start to measure—follow the designated letters on your sizing chart and find them on the graphic guide, then measure at each location

Make sure to write down your measurements, and do not hold the tape too tight or too loose-it should be just a gentle firmness, without creating a very deep dip in the skin - If it does, it is too tight. If it is falling off from its place, it is too loose.

Make sure to follow the description on each measurement point in the measurement sheet.

Once all measurements are done, compare them to the product sizes on the measurement sheet-Helite products are using french sizing which is generally smaller, so it is recommended to go one or two sizes above what product size you measured to ensure a comfortable fit.

Identification of integrated rigid protectors
They are integrated into the airbag jacket at the front, back, shoulders and elbows. They absorb shocks and distribute the force of impacts. You must not use the airbag if the pectoral and/or dorsal have been removed.

Compatibility of the OFF-ROAD airbag with a motorcycle jacket
The OFF-ROAD airbag must be worn under a compatible jacket designed for motorbike use.

Measure your chest circumference and your waist circumference. The measurements are to be taken without wearing a sweater or thick clothing :
(A) : Measure your chest circumference (ex 105 cm)
(B) : Measure your waist circumference (ex 95 cm)
Take the average of the two values (A+B)/2 either
(105+95=200 cm ; 200/2=100 cm)

Measure your jacket. Please lay the closed jacket flat and stretch all the fabrics (elastics included) well for measurement.
(C) : Measure the width of the jacket starting under the armpits (ex 63 cm)
(D) : Measure the width of the jacket at the waist (ex 57 cm)
Add these 2 values
(ex : 63+57=120 cm)

Calculate the difference of the measurements obtained. Your jacket is compatible with the OFF-ROAD airbag if the difference between the second value and the first value is greater than or equal to 14 cm (in our example: 120-100=20 cm, 20 is greater than 14 so the jacket is compatible).
